You can activate GTA 5 cheats on PS4, Xbox One and PC by going to your phone and opening your Contacts, hitting the button to show the keypad, then dialing the number listed for the cheat, which always starts with 1-999 followed by the PC cheat code spelled out by hitting the keypad numbers with the matching letters on. ON PC you can also hit the tilde key (~) to bring up the command console, then type in the GTA 5 cheat codes for your desired effects.

On PS4, Xbox One and consoles generally you can use GTA 5 cheats by entering the sequence of buttons, triggers, and d-pad directions listed below. You'll have to enter them quickly and you'll know when it works because a notification appears on-screen. Turning on any GTA 5 cheats will disable Achievements/Trophies for your current session so you'll need to disabling cheats if you want to get any award. (And maybe restart a clean, cheat-free game just to be sure).

Aim Very Steeply

If for some reason you want/need to aim on a very steep angle then try walking backwards. When you are walking front-ways-forwards the angle is limited. Simply turn around 180 and walk backwards and you should have a much greater angle to work with.
Ammu-Nation Store Owner Assistance

When you have some Police on you and are near an Ammu-Nation Store, head inside and the shop owner *might* pull out a Carbine and take out some of the cops for you!
Armored Trucks Robbery with No Wanted Level

Armored Trucks show up on your mini-map as a blue dot and you should also know that you can rob them. Doing so will usually result in getting a Wanted Level, but follow this guide and you'll be able to rob any parked (yes it must be parked) Armored Truck without getting a Wanted Level.


Get a motorbike and drive towards the truck, then bump the guard who is carrying the case with your bike. You shouldn't try and full-on ram him, it should just be enough of a knock so that the guard stumbles and drops the case.

When he does, jump off the bike and grab the case yourself. This will cause the guards to tell you to drop it before they shoot you. Instead, get back on your bike and ride off into the sunset - with no Wanted Level!
Atomic Blimp Code Fix for PS3

If you pre-ordered GTA V on PS3 and were meant to have received a code to access the Atomic Blimp in-game, but are finding you get the message "Invalid Code or Code Already Being Used" when trying to activate it, read on.


You simply need to login and redeem your code via the official Sony Entertainment Network website. Make sure you are logged into your PSN account first, and then simply head here and redeem the code.

Once you've successfully redeemed it, go to the Playstation Store, search for the Atomic Blimp DLC and download and install it.
Avoid Wanted Level at Airport

To avoid getting a wanted level every time you enter the airport purchase a plane hangar.
Benefits of Franklin's Special Driving Ability

When driving as Franklin, if you activate his special ability (slow motion driving) and hit the brakes then it's possible to come to a complete stop. This great for avoiding slamming into that brick wall at 100mph and also head-on collisions with other cars.


Also if you don't want to get air when going over a jump you can do the same thing - activate Franklin's ability.
Better Reticle

The reticle in GTA V can be a little small and hard to see sometimes, follow this quick guide though and you can improve it.

First off, the reticle is always smack-bang in the middle of the your screen, so what you need to do is hold the aim button and then take a marker/piece of cellotape/post-it and mark where the reticle is on your screen.

Fashion the marker into whatever you want/however you want it to look and there you go - a bigger, better reticle!


Just make sure you can remove it if necessary.
Big BMX Bunny Hops

While riding a BMX you should hold the left thumbstick up and then press (or hold and press) the relevant button for your system to do a bunny hop. Once you build up enough speed you can start tapping the ride button in order to increase the distance - you'll be able to work out the timing required!
Blind Firing Tip

While you are in cover, press the left analog stick upwards and the target reticule will appear. Alternatively if you're at the "edge" of some cover, press left or right as appropriate.


This will let you see where your first shot lands! Beware though, it will also cause your character's head to pop out of cover a little bit, so you might get hit.
Blow Up Cars Easily

Wanna know the spot you need to shoot to cause cars to blow up?

It's the gas tank of course, which is generally placed just in front of the rear wheels on the left hand side of the vehicle.

Shoot where indicated in the image below and you should be blowing up cars left, right and center!



BMX Color Picker

If you want to choose the color of your new BMX then you need to purchase it during the same browser session as you purchase a car. The BMX color will be the same as the color of the car you choose.

Canis Mesa - How to Get it

They Canis Mesa is a very cool off-road vehicle that is impossible to purchase in GTA V. In fact you're not meant to acquire it, but there is a way...

As part of the mission "The Wrap Up" you'll be given access to a Canis Mesa in order to escape a shoot-out.

However don't drive it on the road. Take the left that you see down a hill to another road. There will be a chopper chasing you but you should be able to outrun it.

Where you are heading for is Michael's garage (the 4 vehicle one). Park the Canis Mesa in the garage and then grab any other vehicle in order to complete The Wrap Up.

Once you've got the Canis Mesa saved, you can modify it until your heart's content!

Characters Drive Themselves

Here's a neat tip. If you want to get a character all the way over the other size of Los Santos (Trevor, for example) then while playing as Trevor set a new waypoint on the map and then switch to another character. Then while you're playing as that new character, Trevor will drive over to the waypoint you marked!
Cheaper Vehicles

You can pay less for your vehicles by purchasing them over the in-game internet and incorporating this special trick...
Open your phone and go to the internet.
Click on "Travel and Transport".
Pick the website you want (for example: Legendary Motorsport). You will notice that vehicles like the Z-Type and Adder are very expensive...
Back all the way out to the home page.
Go back to "Travel and Transport" and back to the site you were on just before to see the different prices! For example, the Z-Type for $3,000,000 and the Adder for $410,000, and so on.
Some vehicles go up in price doing this so just pick the page with the lowest price.

Children of the Mountain Missions

At some stage during the game you'll need a password to access to the in-game website "www.childrenofthemountain.com". You'll know when because Franklin will receive a mysterious "My Divine Within" text. It's all part of the Children of the Mountain mission-line.

The password to the website is: futility

Also, later on as part of this mission-line you'll need to answer a word puzzle. The answers are as follows: Divine, Completeness, Orthodoxy, Process, Realization.
Clean Cars Using Fire Truck Watter Cannon

This is a pretty cool feature/piece of detail included by Rockstar in GTAV. Simply grab a fire truck and then aim the water cannon at a dirty car. Next thing you know that car will be showroom clean!
Climbing Ladders

This is a helpful hint if like me you hate having to line up properly with ladders in order to climb them (in other games). Because in GTA V you can climb ladders from any angle - even the other side of it!
Combat Moves

There's a couple of moves you can do in the middle of combat in GTA V. If you want to run and shoot at the same time (run and gun) then press RT (Xbox 360) / R2 (PS3) only slightly in and shoot. It should work. To do a combay roll press RT (Xbox 360) / R2 (PS3) and then X (Xbox 360) / Square (PS3). Finally, if you want to do a dive then jump and press B (Xbox 360) / Circle (PS3).
Convertibles - Raise and Lower Roof

You can raise or lower the top of convertible cars by holding right on the digital pad (pressing will just change the headlights). On PC, you can do this by holding down the H key.
Destroy Choppers in Wind Farm

There is a wind farm in Blaine County that can be used to take out police choppers in a very entertaining/satisfying manner! Get creative!

As you can see, "Smoke on the Water" offers the quickest repayment of you initial investment (22 weeks) versus the Golf Club at the other end of the scale (576 weeks!).



Just note that the "McKenzie Field Hangar" needs to be purchased with Trevor, not Franklin. Also, Los Santos Customs is worth much more to you than the chart was suggest, as it means free upgrades for Franklin (and potentially all the other characters too).
Dial Phone Numbers

Go into your phone contacts and press either Square on the Playstation 3 or X on the Xbox 360 and you'll bring up a number pad to type in numbers and dial them. On PC, use the Up arrow key.

If you ring the number from the GTA IV mission "Lure" (545-555-0122), you get some guy telling you to stop prank calling him!

You seem to be able to disable car alarms most of the time by simply hitting start and loading up the pause menu. Sometimes honking the horn will also work!

Dodging Air Missiles

The best way to dodge air missiles is to actually fly towards them and then fly underneath them at the last minute. Missiles can turn upwards, left and right very quickly, but are not so good changing direction downwards.

 So, you've decided to indulge yourself with one of many masterpieces created by Rockstar Games. As of right now you're a newb but don't worry because we'll give you a small kick to start you on your way through the wild streets of Liberty City in Grand Theft Auto IV.

Story Overview

GTA IV follows Niko Bellic. He is an Eastern European refugee who fought in a war - losing many close friends and fellow soldiers at one point. That incident appears to have been a setup by one or two surviving men so Niko travels to America in order to track down these men for revenge while escaping many other people for various reasons.

Niko's contact in the USA is his cousin Roman who lives in Liberty City. Roman says he is living the American Dream but Niko quickly finds out that isn't really true. Roman owns a small taxi service while living in a small apartment.

Between Roman's antics with mobsters and Niko's own ambitions, the two work their way around the city making new friends and enemies along the way. There are many twists and turns throughout the story with some decisions coming down to you.

The City

Liberty City is based on present day New York City, USA. There are five parts of the map with each based on real locations. Four are based on NYC boroughs and one is based on New Jersey. That part is technically a separate state like real life but shares police, fire, and EMS services.

• Broker: Brooklyn, NY (unlocked at start)
• Dukes: Queens, NY (unlocked at start)
• Bohan: Bronx, NY (unlocked at start)
• Algonquin: Manhattan, NY (unlocked during "Blow Your Cover")
• Alderney: Northern NJ (unlocked after "Three Leaf Clover")

We start out in Broker in the southeast portion of the map and work north then west throughout the story. Initially the bridges to Algonquin are closed due to a terrorist threat and accessing the far islands result in a wanted level.

Gameplay

Like previous GTA games, vehicles and guns are the main focus of gameplay. There are plenty of vehicles to choose from and a limited selection of weapons compared to previous games in the series.

Vehicles

Like all GTA games, the very first mission will guide you through a driving tutorial. You'll be shown the controls which are similar but different from past GTA games. You'll also be introduced to the radar in the lower corner of the screen. New in GTA IV is turn-by-turn navigation which highlights streets to your destination. You are not required to follow the exact route and can find certain shortcuts through alleys or even across open areas of land.

Vehicles are found everywhere. There are cars, trucks, emergency services, helicopters, and many other special vehicles to choose from. Aside from jacking vehicles driving around, there is plenty of parking along the streets of the city for regular vehicles and certain locations for the special or rare ones. Most of these locations are obvious such as police cars at police stations or helicopters at the airport.
If you find a vehicle you wish to keep, you can park it at your safehouse. There is a special parking area outside that can save two vehicles for you. These replace the garages of past games.

Weapons

Weapons can be found scattered around the city hidden behind things or bought at gun shops in Bohan or Alderney. You'll need to unlock them first. When you run out of ammo, Niko will toss the weapon aside and automatically switch to another weapon. Weapons found or dropped by dead cops or enemies will have a red-orange glow for visibility. Simply walk over them to pick them up or gain ammo.

Weapons are kept in categories for example "handguns" or "thrown". Most weapons in GTA IV have two weapons per category but you are only able to carry one weapon per category. For the guns there is usually a basic model (pistol) and a better model (combat pistol). If you have a weapon in a certain category but come across another in that category, you are able to swap them if you wish. Better weapons are unlocked during the story.

Missions

Of course in order to advance in the game you need to do missions. Missions are given by different people met during the story. Simply drive to an icon on your map or radar and enter the yellow chevron marker to begin. Cutscenes provide insight to what is going on and what you are being asked to do. During the mission the game will also tell you exactly what to do by using colored text corresponding to icons or blips on your map/radar.

Phone

From the beginning Niko is given a phone which can be brought up using the "up" button. This provides another way for Niko to take on missions or other side quests such as building friendships or dating. People may call or text message you depending on the situation. You are able to call people in your contact list when available. The phone also acts as an in-game menu providing access to multiplayer among a few other functions. Certain missions have calendar or time reminders and a couple utilize the phone's camera. Unfortunately photos taken are unable to be saved for export.

Internet & Email

Because the game is set in present day, the internet is alive and well. Your best access is from one of three "TW@" internet cafes located in Broker, Algonquin, and Alderney. There are tons of websites to look at with some being interactive. Some websites are useful while others are just for laughs. Niko has an email account which allows him to communicate with some people for missions or side quests. Of course to be an accurate reflection of real life there is some spam mail leading to various websites too.

Television

TV sets can be found in your safehouses. Television does not provide much in terms of gameplay since it is just something to watch but quite an effort was put into the many channels and shows. Check out the familiar Republican Space Rangers or Princess Robot Bubblegum. You can also catch Weasel News or learn about local celebrities.

Friends & Girlfriends Activities

Since Niko is new to the city, cousin Roman is more than happy to show him the sights. He'll invite you to see shows, go bowling, or get something to eat. You are able to initiate the activity by calling him instead. Completing these activities builds likeness between friends. Getting the likeness high will yield special benefits from that friend.

Throughout the game you'll meet a few different friends. You'll also be introduced to two girlfriends. There are three additional girlfriends to be found on internet dating websites. Girlfriends are similar to regular friends. Completing activities (dates) builds fondness. High fondness means better chance of "hot coffee" when you try your luck at the end of a date.

49. Bunch of tips by Bronislav Vacula: A - It is better to use a slower car that turns better for off-road races. For instance: Taxi.
It is better to use faster car with a worse turn-radius for city races, for instance: infernus, zr350…

B - You can get to the airport without a police license with no trouble. Steal a car and then go up to the airport gate, park the car right by the fence (it must be really close to it). Then jump onto the car and climb over fence, then go to the gate, it will open, get into your car and now you can go in with your car.

C - You can complete motorbike school on the third island. You must go and jump on the platform and then drive on your back tire (pop a wheelie). But there is a small bug. It is enough for you to just get on a part of the platform and then just pick your motorbike up. It is counted like you jumped.
D - There are these advantages in GTA:
- when you carry out a mission with police car, the armor will increase by150%
- as soon as you carry out the fireman mission, you’ll be fireproof
- when you carry out missions with an ambulance, your health will increase.




48. Tip for the Cop Wheels mission When cops drive off in the Cop Wheels mission, start to shoot AT THEM, they’ll get out the motorbike and you can take it. Sent by: D.J4

46. How to get to the next towns without the stars When you want to get into the 2nd city and don’t have any stars, you must do following:

Steal the only plane at the airport of the 1st city (tips how to get at the airport is enough), then go to the Mount Chiliad. You’ll be probably shot at so open a parachute (you’ll have to have it, of course). Get to the Mount Chiliad by some fast motorbike, the best is nrg 500, but pci 600 is also enough, go against a tilting ramp on a wooden ramp on the top. Jump with your motorbike from the ramp and still hold the gas. You’ll died by the hit and appear in San Fierro hospital without stars!

P.S. On your way to Mount Chiliad, cops can attack you, so look out!

Handbrake by HydraI’ve found an interesting game bug: when you let the Hydra landing gear draw out, and you fly against the ground and press and hold ENTER (for getting out of a vehicle) just a bit before the ground, the hydra will slow down on minimum (as a bullet time) and it won’t crash into the ground at full speed. Unfortunately farmers lock their combines. Therefore take your car and go into a field. Stop in front of a combine – it’ll stop too. Get out of the car and shoot the farmer in the head with a normal gun. If you are too low, climb onto the car roof. The farmer will fall out and the combine is yours.

LOOK OUT: The save is time limited for when farmers work (drive). I tried it at midnight, nothing was there and all the combines were locked. I tried to shoot with something else, but it didn’t work. Even if the farmer fell out, the combine didn’t open. When you drive too fast, the combine usually go over people, but it doesn’t kill them!!! 8-(. Sent: Michal Kundrát

28. Cars in GGMM My tip is to change a car for two people into a bus in GGMM. But in GGMM, you must rename files *.dff to *.txd on what you want to change (for instance: bus). Then you must find a car that you want to change into the bus, and go with several friends of yours (up to 7) and get in. All will push on the front seat and heads of some of them will be sticking out. End when you get out, some of your friends (about 2) might fly out. Sent: Martin Suchý.

23. Robbing Uncle Sam When you still have problems with the Robbing Uncle Sam mission by Ryder (you are supposed to remove boxes from a car by push cart), you can do it this way too:
When you arrive in front of the gate, get over the fence and kill three soldiers outdoors, but be careful, don’t shoot at the door open!! Then shoot the two in the store room, take the push cart and get the 5 boxes at the edge of the store room entry, the sixth one put on the push cart and prepare it. 22. Beat the Cock
It is possible to absolve the first part of a triathlon (swimming) with the jetpack and get quite a big edge in the “BEAT THE COCK” mission. I found it by coincidence when I was flying with jetpack around the scenery and I decided to take part in the race. I took off the jetpack and when the race started the jetpack was still there. So I took it and flew. It is likely to do the same with the motor bloat, but I didn’t try it. Sent by: 107

20. Mike Torreno mission You don’t have to drive off in a hurry after rescuing the guy in the Mike Torreno mission. I flew off in a chopper and landed in front of a cantina. 19. Garage There is a house with a garage in Dillimore, that you can buy. When you get your car into the garage and you look from outside into the garage (the garage must be closed), your car won’t be there. But when you open the garage then, your car is still there. ´

When somebody falls from a motorbike and you want to sit on it, the following situations can happen:
1. You’ll sit on the first one, and he’ll knock you down and walk off
2. He’ll sit and you can knock him down and you can walk off
3. When you sit at the same time, you’ll be a driver and the owner is your passenger. You can drive him whenever you want and when you get out, he’ll do the same. Then he takes his motorbike back and drives off.

15. Tips for weapons around CJ’s I’ve a tip for finding Tec, Uzi and jackets around CJ’s home. Tec is on Sweet’s roof. To get it, you climb the wall behind your house, jump onto your roof and you can see it from there. 13. How to get NEWS CHOPPERGo at the airport in Las Venturas, there is a hangar next to the main gate, where you can get assets from planes and choppers. Choose Whirly Bird Waypoint (right here you take this chopper) and after starting the quest, take your haul into your hangar at your airport in Verdant Meadows. Land and park the plane fast and run off. If the hangar door manages to close, before the time limit to come back into a vehicle is out, you have won.

12. Garden multifunction mower: There are several of them parked in the gardens of rich areas of Los Santos – to be exact in the Mulholland area. One is, for instance, to the east of your savepoint (northeast from Madd Dogg’s villas).

11. Indestructible vehicles: The only vehicles that are mostly impossible to destroy (only by explosion, turnover etc.) are bikes – for instance the normal bicycle, mountain bike or BMX.

9. Cheat in illegal racesThere are three places in all of San Andreas (not counting flying races – flying through checkpoints) where you can take part in illegal races. They are, of course, very difficult and you can lose many times, only because the surrounding cars crash into you. The worst situation is during a race on part of the highway – because there is one horrible bus in the game that causes the other cars drive three times faster than the maximum speed of these cars, such as Bullet, Banshee, ZR-350 etc. When you want to make races easier, take a mini gun and have it prepared during the start of the race.
As soon as the starting countdown stops, get out of your car and shoot off all your rivals. If you have good foresight, it’s no problem for you. After eliminating ALL other cars, get into your car (you must manage it in time limit during which you can be out of your car) and after a while you’ll in first place. Then you must just be as fast and careful as possible to get to the finish. The only drawback is two police cars and police on their own. But you can easily get rid of them in the race and get away. And on the top of it, they lose interest in you after some time. So, no problem.

8. How to become millionaire
One hundred millions dollars on your account without cheating? This is probably the best way to earn a really big amount of money – but at first you have to do at least one mission for Catalina (see a walkthrough). Then save the position near her cottage (location Fern Ridge) and walk to a close village, Montgomery. Find the local horse racing office Inside Track (on the picture) and go in.



Go to one of two automats by the wall and choose a horse, which you want to bet on and bet, if it’s possible, the highest amount of money, you have (it will pay off!). Now just watch the race and when your horse win, you’ll get your bet money and plus the extra bonus (when I bet about four million, I got more over 46 000 000).

But you aren’t always a winner and if you don’t pick the winning horse (this is more likely a question of luck), you can often lose your money. In this case, just load an older savegame and get back to the office. Try again and, in case of win, go save your game back at the cottage.

7. Super acceleration (only for motorbikes). You can speed up your machine to the double of its maximum speed and how? Just press on a key for the list to up the speed during your drive. This is only for motorbikes.

6. Location of some things: In GTA: San Andreas you can find some useful weapons and things, however when looking for them you can have trouble.
For example: you can find an AK'47, a sniper gun and a bi-plane with the members of black clothes gang in Chinatown in San Fierro.
A camera and spray are in CJ’s bedroom at his house.
A fire extinguisher is in every Burger fast-food and a parachute on the highest mountain of SA, Mount Chiliad…




5. Fast weapon reload: When you are in a shootout and there isn’t any place to hide and load your weapon, don’t worry. You can solve it out by a simple trick – just switch to another weapon (anything, like a fist) and then change back quickly; you will have a full clip without loading for a long time. It is good during attacks of more rivals when you don’t have time to wait (for enemy bullets).




4. Easter Eggs Let’s continue in the tradition of GTA Easter Eggs by the second one, which can be found in the new game San Andreas. You can see it this way: Go to the bridge connecting San Fierro and Las Venturas. Get to its top and there you can see this sign:
"There are no Easter Eggs up here. Go away."

Go to the Cluckin’ Bell restaurant. Jump over the bar and turn back. You’ll find this sign on the back of a server. "Taste the Cock".



3. Rewards: - vigilante level 12 – a vest will be increased at 150%
- fire missions level 12 – CJ will become fireproof
- 50 taxi people – in all taxi will be NITRO
- the health will be increased at 150% so that you will eat well and do exercises

For 100 tags, AK-47, Tec-9, Sawnoff Shotgun and Molotov Cocktails will be in your mother’s house.
For 50 photos taken, Uzi, grenades, shotgun and rifle will be in front of the Doherty garage in San Fierro.
For 50 horseshoes, M4, MP5, SPAS-12 shotgun and Explosive substances will be in front of the Four Dragons casino.
For 50 shells, your Sex-appeal and lung capacity will increase.
